How to choose the right tool

Start from the file you have and the result you need, not from the feature list. The paragraphs below map common tasks to the right tool; each tool page then explains settings, limits and pitfalls in detail.

Holding a PDF? Merge PDF combines several, Split PDF divides one, Compress PDF shrinks it for portals, and PDF to JPG or PDF to PNG exports pages as images. Fixing a bad scan? Rotate, delete pages, extract or reorder — or rebuild from photos with PDF Scanner. Guarding sensitive files? Protect PDF adds an AES-256 password.

Working with pictures? Resize to display size, compress to web weight, crop to platform ratios, convert formats in batches, or take the shortcut with WebP Converter. Shipping a site? Favicon Generator builds the whole icon kit. Binding everything? Image to PDF, JPG to PDF and PNG to PDF cover every input mix.

What all the tools have in common

  • No upload. Files are read and processed by code running in your browser tab, then offered to you as a download.
  • No account or watermark. Outputs are ordinary files you can use for personal or commercial work.
  • Clear limits. PDF tools accept up to 100 MB per file and image tools up to 50 MB. Each page lists batch sizes and formats.
  • Honest trade-offs. When an operation loses something — selectable text when pages become images, transparency when saving as JPG — the tool tells you before you run it.

New to a task? Our guides explain the background, from scanning documents with a phone to favicon sizes.
